Gucci Recruits Ari Marcopoulos for 'Dapper Dan's Harlem' Book

Gucci is continuing its collaboration with Dapper Dan with a new book exploring the legendary designer and bootlegger’s Harlem neighborhood. Titled Dapper Dan’s Harlem and edited by Ari Marcopoulos the book features original photography of the neighborhood, as well as portraits of friends of Gucci and Dapper Dan including director and designer Trevor Andrew, artist, poet and author Cleo Wade, restauranteur and chef Marcus Samuelsson, and businessman and author Steve Stoute.

Dapper Dan’s Harlem will officially launch on January 8 at Pitti Uomo. The book — strictly limited to 500 copies — will the get a wider release through London-based publisher IDEA and will be stocked at the Gucci Garden in Florence and Gucci Wooster Bookstore in New York.
